STRATFORD, Wis. (WSAU) - A local businessman is getting ready to throw his hat into the ring for Scott Suder’s seat on the state legislature.
Bob Kulp says he’d like to run for the seat in the 69th State Assembly District now that Suder is taking a position with the Public Service Commision. Kulp is now the second Republican to step up for the race, following the announcement from Deb Koncel who is the current Clark County Republican Party chairwoman.
Kulp didn’t want to give an interview today, saying he’s waiting for Suder to officially leave the office before making any statements to the press.
No Democrats have stepped up to run in the race as of yet.
