MADISOn, WI (WSAU) North Dakota and Wisconsin found the net in a 13-second span, then did no more scoring in a 1-1 tie Friday night. Both scores came in the second period.

Michael Mersch had the only goal of the game for Wisconsin on a wrap-around. The Badger men’s team outshot North Dakota 30-22. Landon Peterson had 21 saves in goal for Wisconsin.

The Badgers’ record is 11-8-6, including 8-5-6 in the Wisconsin Collegiate Hockey Association conference play.
