RIB MOUNTAIN, Wis (WSAU) A 16-year-old who was ticketed for a hit-and-run last November has now been charged. The District Attorney's office decided on a misdemeanor hit and run against the driver, whose name won't be released because of his age.

The teenager struck a child who was being escorted across Robin Lane and Highway R in Rib Mountain by a crossing guard. The child was not seriously hurt. The driver was located about four hours later.

An initial court appearance is scheduled for this Friday.
