MERRILL, WIs. (WSAU) - Merrill school board members will be interviewing their finalists for the superintendent position next week.
A special meeting will be held Monday night to interview two finalists. The candidates are Phillips Superintendent Walter Leipart and Florence Superintendent Tom Woznicki.
Merrill has been without a permanent superintendent since the departure of Lisa Snyder in 2011. Interim superintendent Don Stevens was brought on to cover the position while a more permanent replacement could be found.
Monday night's meeting starts in closed session at 5 pm. The board may announce their selection in open session later that evening.
