WILLIAMS BAY, WI (WTAQ) - One person was killed and another was rescued from a burning house in Williams Bay, near Lake Geneva.

Authorities said the blaze started around 8:20 p.m. Thursday and burned until close to midnight.

Two firefighters were reportedly taken to a hospital with smoke inhalation.

The name of the fatal victim was not immediately released.

An investigation continues into the cause of the fire.
