In the more than 50 years that the Billboard Hot 100 has been in existence, countless love songs have scaled its heights.  But what are the biggest love songs of all time?  Billboard has the answer.

The magazine examined every charted song that had the word "love" or a form of the word in its title, and then ranked them all based on how long they stayed on the chart, and how many weeks, if any, they spent at #1.  The result is the Top 50 "Love" Songs of All Time, and the #1 song is...."Endless Love," by Lionel Richie and Diana Ross . The duet, from the Brooke Shields movie of the same name, stayed at #1 for a whopping nine weeks back in 1981.
