SHEBOYGAN, WI (WTAQ) - Details of a plea agreement for a Wisconsin woman accused of killing her infant daughter 55 years ago were made public in court Monday.
A Sheboygan County judge accepted the plea deal for Ruby Klokow.
The 76-year-old Klokow will spend 45 days in jail plus 10 years of probation. Sheboygan County District Attorney Joe DeCecco recommended the sentence due to Klokow's advanced age and health.
According to a criminal complaint, Klokow admitted to causing the death of then 6-month-old Jeaneen.
In 2008, Klokow's son, James Klokow Jr., came forward with horrific stories of child abuse and suspected something had happened to his sister. After an investigation, Klokow was charged with second-degree murder.
