MADISON, WI (WSAU) The Wausau West Warrior hockey team was playing in the state tournament for the fourth straight year and Verona made their visit a short one today. The 2nd ranked team in the state beat West 6-3 in the opening game of this years state tournament at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison.

Sheldon Oja, Cale Bowman and Justin Anderson scored the Warrior goals. West finished the season at 17-10-1.
