RHINELANDER, WI (WSAU) - The former Medical Examiner for Oneida and Forest Counties now has all charges in one county, and that’s Oneida County. Traci England’s cases will also have a special prosecutor. Electronic court records released Thursday confirmed that, but did not name that prosecutor.
England was initially charged with stealing body parts from four victims, so that she may use the tissue to train a cadaver dog. In October, investigators discovered what they believe are two more victims, and accused England of supplying cremated remains to other dog trainers.
The investigation began a year ago, but all charges were just consolidated into Oneida County this week. Arraignment for the former Forest County charges just filed in Oneida County will be January 10th at 1:30 p.m. before Judge Leon Stenz. That time was already scheduled for a motions hearing on the first Oneida County case.
England remains free on a $2,500 signature bond.
