A 4th Mole Lake stabbing suspect found guilty Friday

CRANDON, WI (WSAU) -  Another gang member was found guilty Friday in the Mole Lake stabbing incident from 11 months ago. Five people were arrested when the 32-year-old Wausau male victim was severely injured. The gang stabbing and beating was allegedly because the victim was going to testify against a gang member in a Marathon County court case. A 17-year-old pregnant woman was bound with duct tape during the same attack, but escaped.

20-year-old Jesse Daniels pled guilty Friday on two of the six felony charges against him, false imprisonment and second degree attempted homicide. He was scheduled to go to trial before a jury next week. Daniels was out of court on bail, but has now been remanded to the Forest County Jail until his sentencing.

Melvin Zarda, Craig McGeshick, and Preston Krustensterna are already in prison for their parts in the crime.
