WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI (WSAU) - A Grand Rapids man will not go to trial Thursday morning for a shooting death after all. 22-year-old Tyler Enkro has reached a plea agreement with Wood County prosecutors and will enter that plea March 7th at 10-o-clock.
Enkro contacted 9-1-1 back in December of 2011 to report he accidentally shot 31-year-old Nick Hoffman and believed he was dead. Authorities say Enkro’s blood alcohol level was point-one-seven. He was charged with homicide by intoxicated use of a firearm.
