SPARTA, WI (WSAU) -  A Rothschild man is going to prison after checking into the Veteran’s Home in Tomah with a collection of child pornography. 48-year-old Greg Crisman was sentenced to three and a half years in prison.

Crisman told investigators at Fort McCoy he had to view the material since he was molested years ago and said he was living a fantasy trip. He obtained the pornography by printing the pictures from the internet. He had over fifty images of naked children when he was caught last May.

Crisman also told arresting officers it was a good thing they took him, since he was suicidal. He also told them he’s glad he was arrested before there would have been victims.
