MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) The Milwaukee Bucks lost to Chicago at home last night, 104-to-88. Nate Robinson settled a score with Bucks’ point guard Brandon Jennings – who burned Robinson for 35 points earlier in the season. Last night, Robinson scored 16 of his 24 points in the second quarter. And Jennings got so frustrated, he was ejected with less than three minutes after he committed a charging foul on Robinson.
The Bulls had a 20-to-4 in the second quarter to go up by 19. Milwaukee got to within seven in the third quarter, but Chicago held on.
Former Marquette forward Jimmy Butler had 18 points and five rebounds off the bench for the Bulls. Ersan Ilyasova led Milwaukee with 18 points. Samuel Dalembert had a season-high 13 rebounds as he started in place of Larry Sanders, who was out with an illness. Carlos Boozer missed the game for Chicago with a bad hamstring.
Milwaukee’s loss was only the second in its last seven. Thousands of Bulls fans made the drive up from Chicago, as the Central Division-leading Bulls ended up splitting the season series with Milwaukee at two games apiece.
The Bucks dropped to four games above .500. They’ll play the Knicks in New York tomorrow night.
