Daft Punk has teamed up with condom maker Durex to create a new signature line of condoms, NME is reporting. The Get Lucky condom’s packaging features a picture of the electronic duo, along with the song’s guest collaborators -- rapper/producer Pharrell Williams and Chic 's Nile Rodgers -- posed against the backdrop of a setting sun.
While it’s unclear when the condoms will be released worldwide, DJ/producer Diplo was one of the lucky ones to receive one of them. He recently posted a photo of the package on Instagram along with the caption, "Thank god I had those daft punk condoms last night."
Daft Punk’s merchandising doesn’t end there as the group plans to sell action figures modeled after them during the upcoming holiday season. The Japanese toy company Bandai is helping to create figures of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo in outfits inspired by their latest album, Random Access Memories . The figures are set to go on sale December 27.
