Justin Bieber recently reached out to Bill Clinton to apologize after the singer was caught on tape spraying cleaning fluid on a photo of the former president after urinating into a restaurant mop bucket in New York City earlier this year, but the singer apparently hasn't offered the same olive branch to janitors who handle those buckets every day.
A rep for the biggest janitors union in the United States tells TMZ.com that Bieber has no respect for hard-working people.
A rep for 32bj SEIU, which represents over 50,000 building services workers in New York City, tells TMZ, “Unfortunately, people are often oblivious to the fact that workers like our members are faced daily with the consequences of such thoughtless acts.”
The rep tells the website that Bieber’s behavior “serves as a stark reminder of the essential jobs that building workers perform and the very difficult conditions under which they perform them. We welcome a heightened awareness of workers’ dignity among young people, and hope many will be moved to work for economic justice.”
