MINNEAPOLIS, MINN (LEARFIELD-WSAU) Green Bay Packers’ fans who normally see a game in Minnesota can start buying their tickets today. Single game seats will go on sale at nine a-m at the Metrodome, and 10 o’clock at Ticketmaster’s online and phone outlets. The Vikings’ home game against Green Bay is on Sunday night, October 27th.
As always, the Vikes will at least start forcing buyers for the Packer game to purchase another game as well – but that one’s not an exhibition game, for a change. For now, the Packer tickets are being paired with the regular season contest against Cleveland on September 22nd.
The Vikings’ strategy normally doesn’t work for the duration – and they end up selling the Packer game on a single basis to those willing to wait. The early demand might be bigger than normal, though, since this is the final season that the Vikes will play in the Metrodome.
