President Barack Obama is hoping to enlist a collection of top stars to promote his 2010 health care reform law.

To get the message out, the Washington Post reports senior White House officials held a meeting on Monday with Jennifer Hudson , representatives for  Alicia Keys , Bon Jovi and Oprah Winfrey , and others to pitch the president's objective of getting more than 2.7 million young Americans to sign up for online health insurance exchanges to make the system work economically.

The administration would like the celebrities to help people understand the health care law and raise awareness about the sign-up period for the exchanges, which begins October 1.

Other famous participants at the meeting included actors Amy Poehler and Kal Penn . The president hopes also to get support from popular websites, Funny or Die and YouTube, which also had reps at the meeting.
