Justin Timberlake is among a handful of artists who mined some heavy metal last month, according to the RIAA ’s newest monthly Gold and Platinum Program tally.
The singer's love ballad "Mirrors" has been certified double platinum for sales of two million copies. The song, which also sits within the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, is lifted from Justin’s multi-platinum selling album, The 20/20 Experience.
Other songs that went gold or platinum this past month include Daft Punk's "Get Lucky," Selena Gomez's "Come & Get It" and Zedd's "Clarity."
In other Justin news, he's announced additional concert dates for his upcoming solo 20/20 Experience World Tour, which kicks off in October. The tour will now visit Brooklyn's Barclays Center, New Jersey's Izod Center, Chicago’s United Center and the Air Canada Centre in Toronto in addition to the previously-announced dates.
