RHINELANDER, WI (WSAU) - The St. Germain woman accused of causing a man’s death by providing him heroin has entered a “not guilty” plea in court. 26-year-old Jennifer Heiting was in Oneida County Circuit Court Monday. She is charged with 1st degree reckless homicide by delivering drugs and bail jumping. She was initially charged with different heroin related charges.
Investigators say Heiting was responsible for supplying the drugs that lead to the overdose death of 30-year-old David Stahl last December 8th. Heiting remains in custody unable to post bond. She will have a pretrial conference August 6th.
