GREEN BAY, WI (LEARFIELD-WSAU) Green Bay Packers’ running back DuJuan Harris will not practice until training camp in late July. The second-year pro missed today’s workout at the Packers’ mini-camp. He tweeted that he had a large cyst removed from one of his lungs, after it was discovered during a team physical.
Coach Mike McCarthy says he expects Harris to be ready when camp begins.
Harris put on a showcase late last season in two nationally-televised Packer games at Lambeau Field. He scored a fourth quarter touchdown on a snowy night in December, when the Packers beat Detroit. And Harris scored Green Bay’s first touchdown in their Wild Card playoff contest against Minnesota, which the Packers won before losing at San Francisco in the divisional round.
