Taylor Swift is constantly getting bashed over her love life, but immortalizing the bashing on a tee shirt apparently was too much for some of her fans to bear. Buzzfeed reports that an Abercrombie & Fitch t-shirt that poked fun at Taylor has been removed from stores following an online protest.
The shirt in question was white and spelled out in silver letters, "#more boyfriends than t.s." It's not hard to guess to whom the initials "t.s." are referring. As a result, Buzzfeed reports, Taylor's fans created an online petition calling for Abercrombie & Fitch to remove the shirt from its shelves. Another fan made a YouTube video urging fans to call the company's P.R. number to complain, and included the phone number in the video's description.
Now, according to Buzzfeed, when you call the number, you get the following greeting: “Thank you for calling Abercrombie & Fitch public relations. If you are calling regarding the Taylor Swift t-shirt, please note this is no longer available.” Mission accomplished, it seems.
In other Taylor news, she's created her first Vine -- that's the new Twitter app that lets you post a six-second video clip. Hers is titled, "At 9pm, I'm either onstage or I'm doing this." It depicts Taylor, staring wide-eyed at a TV screen that's playing Titanic, as her cat Meredith lounges nearby, looking bored.
