MADISON, Wis. (WSAU) - Wisconsin basketball teams have developed a reputation for their focus under Coach Bo Ryan, but today’s home game against Purdue has the look of a “trap” for a team with post-season ambitions like the Badgers.
Purdue carries a subpar 13-15 record, including 6-9 in Big Ten Conference play into the noon tip-off at the Kohl Center. They will be facing a Badger team which went 7-4 during one stretch where they played nine top-25 teams. Wisconsin’s schedule strength is the third-toughest in the country.
The Badgers bring a 20-8 record into the contest, including 11-4 in the Big Ten.
