RHINELANDER, WI (WXPR) -  A long-time Rhinelander school district employee will take the top job in the district this summer.

The Rhinelander School Board Monday selected Kelli Jacobi...currently the district's Director of Curriculum...to succeed Dr. Roger Erdahl as Superintendent. Erdahl is retiring.

School Board President Ron Counter said Jacobi was the best fit.

The other finalists for the job were the Principal at D.C. Everest High School in Schofield, Thomas Johanson and Jean Broadwater from Houston, Minnesota.
