FRIENDSHIP, Wis (WSAU) There was a court appearance yesterday for the Adams man accused of shooting his girlfriend earlier this month.
Coleman Dybul sleeps with a shotgun next to his bed. He shot and killed 27-year-old Toni Voss thinking she was an intruder.
Prosecutors say they're still waiting for toxicology reports, and want to delay a formal arraignment until then. He'll face more serious charges if he was intoxicated. The case was continued until Friday.
Dybul remains in jail on $250,000 bond.
His defense lawyer says Dybul suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder after serving with the U.S. Marines in Afghanistan.
