NEKOOSA, WI (WSAU) - Monday’s Nekoosa High School lockdown for a possible weapon has officials seeking charges against an 18-year-old student.
Stevens Dzieglewicz is accused of saying he had a gun in school on a social media site. Police arrested him, and are recommending disorderly conduct charges to the Wood County District Attorney.
When questioned, Dzieglewicz told authorities he did not have a weapon and didn’t bring one to school. Nekoosa police, Wood County Sheriff’s deputies, and school officials searched the building and found nothing.
So far, charges have not been filed.
