ROTHSCHILD, Wis (WSAU) A 19-year-old babysitter is charged with abusing two young children she'd been watching. She was caught on a secret 'nanny cam' that the children's father installed.

Jennifer Cronin of Rothschild is free on $5,000 signature bond. She'll be back in court for a preliminary hearing on April 15.

A criminal complaint said the father went to police after seeing a nanny-cam video of Cronin slapping a 4-month-old child in the head. The father also said there were concerns that Cronin wasn't paying enough attention to the children when a 2-year-old was injured in the family's basement.

The father went to police after reviewing the camera footage.

Cronin had been babysitting for the family for more than a year.
