ADAMS, WI (WSAU) An Adams County man tells investigators he served with the Marines in Afghanistan and, when he woke up and saw a person in the shadows, he said he thought somebody was attacking his girlfriend.
It was actually the girlfriend, Toni Voss. When 28 year old Coleman Dybul turned on the light, he found he had shot Voss in the chest when he fired the shotgun.
Dybul has been charged with first-degree reckless homicide. Dybul is also facing drug charges in connection with the March 2nd incident. He remains behind bars.
