MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - A 19-year-old Madison man has been found guilty of killing another man in a dispute over gang territory.
A Dane County jury convicted Demetrius Matticx of first-degree intentional homicide and 3 counts of reckless endangerment.
He was among 10 defendants facing charges related to the 2011 shooting death of 20-year-old Jonathan Wilson.
Authorities said Matticx shot Wilson as the victim was driving away from rival gang members in a turf dispute.
There was no immediate word on when Matticx would be sentenced. He faces life in prison, but a judge could set an eligibility date for a possible supervised release.
