MADISON, WI (LEARFIELD-WSAU)A Polynesian running back from Salt Lake City has given his verbal commitment to play for the Wisconsin football team just over a year from now.
Ula Tolutau is the sixth known commitment in the Badgers’ Class of 2014. The 6-1, 230-pound Tolutau also had scholarship offers from Utah, Utah State, B-Y-U, and Hawaii.
He was reportedly recruited by Wisconsin’s new defensive line coach, Chad Kauha’aha’a (cow-ha-a-ha-a). He said last winter that he was successful recruiting Polynesian players at Utah, where he coached before joining Gary Andersen’s staff in Madison.
