Jennifer Lopez 's performance of her current single "Live It Up" on Britain's Got Talent earlier this week drew some complaints from viewers, who thought it was too sexy for a family oriented show. But speaking to England's BBC Radio 1 , J-Lo defended her performing attire as being something that many artists rock on stage.
"It was a bodysuit," she said of her skintight, high-cut outfit, which she paired with thigh-high boots and stockings. "I think a lot of performers wear those these days. It's stage clothes. I'm not gonna walk down the street like that!" When asked if she was wearing anything under her outfit to "prevent a wardrobe malfunction, she said, "Sure. Absolutely."
During that same interview, J-Lo admitted that she used to hate performing her first hit, "If I Had My Love," because she got so sick of playing it, but now that she's rearranged it as an acoustic number, she enjoys it again. She also revealed that while she can't remember the last time she did her own laundry, it wasn't too long ago that she actually a) called a plumber and b) went to the grocery store.
