WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) - A plea deal may be in the works for a Rothschild woman accused of abusing the children she was hired to babysit.
19-year-old Jennifer Cronin currently faces three felony charges in the case including intentional child abuse and reckless child abuse. Police say the father of the children she was watching installed a nanny cam in the house and caught Cronin shoving and yanking a 2-year-old and being rough with a 4-month-old.
Cronin is scheduled to make a plea appearance in the case November 26. If convicted on the current charges, she faces a maximum of 31 years in prison. She's currently free on a signature bond.
