HUDSON, WI (WTAQ) - The State Patrol continues to investigate a weekend crash near Hudson that killed a man and injured four people.
The DOT said 38-year-old Scott Shoemaker of Black River Falls died, after his car failed to stop for a stop sign on a town road and collided with a minivan coming from his left.
It happened late Saturday afternoon on Tower Road near Old Highway 35 in St. Croix County.
Shoemaker died at the crash scene. His two daughters, ages 12 and 16, were in serious condition at last word at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.
Their 14-year-old brother suffered non-life-threatening injuries, as did the driver of the other vehicle.
