The Green Bay Packers were not satisfied going into the regular season with BJ Coleman as the back up for Aaron Rodgers. They made that clear Monday by releasing Coleman and signing veteran Seneca Wallace.
Wallace retired last week before the final exhibition game with the San Francisco 49ers. He is the second former 49er quarterback to sign with the Pack in the last two days. Green Bay signed former 49er and Wisconsin Badger QB Scott Tolzien to their practice squad.
The Packers open the regular season next Sunday against San Francisco.
