WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) - The Woodson Art Museum in Wausau opens its doors tomorrow morning on their signature exhibition: Birds in Art.
It's all a part of the annual Artrageous Weekend in Wausau. Marketing director Amy Beck says the Museum's garden will be the site for many of the festivities. "The grounds are gorgeous, in bloom and lush. We'll be having a number of opening ceremonies out there Saturday morning."
The opening ceremonies will feature this year's Master Artist Terry Miller, but Beck says the museum will be packed with artists showing off their works. "See them near their artwork in the galleries, get your catalog signed, see them in the sculpture garden." Miller's talk on the ABC's of Artist Life starts at 9:30 am in the garden, followed by a series of demonstrations by artists across the museum grounds.
The Museum opens tomorrow morning at 9am for the opening ceremonies. You can also park downtown or at any of the Artrageous venues and pick up a shuttle bus to Birds in Art, Art in the Park, or the Festival of the Arts.
