WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) - The first WDEZ Rummage Sale for St. Judes Childrens Hospital was a rousing success.
Morning hosts Bryan Scott and Nikki Montgomery hosted the sale this weekend at the Midwest Communications Studios, and Scott says it was a great turnout. "We didn't know what to expect for this, I've never run a rummage sale before, Nikki's never run a rummage sale, we were very happy with 15-hundred bucks."
A large crowd turned out to peruse what was for sale. "We had a great turnout, a lot of people waiting for us, in fact people were here before we got started, we got rid of a lot of stuff." Scott says everything they didn't sell went to the Talent Shop. "Goodwill's campaign for the Talent Shop will be coming up here very soon."
Planning is already in the works for next year's event, and Scott says he's excited to be working on this.
