UNDATED (WSAU) Jury selection in the murder of Kira Steger-Trevino is taking longer than expected. Her estranged husband Jeffery is accused of killing her last February.
Opening arguments were supposed to begin today, but the jury still needs four more members and two alternates. Yesterday eight jurors, five men and three women, were seated. Many other potential jurors were dismissed because they'd been following the case in the media.
Kira was a graduate of D.C.EverestHigh School and grew up in the Wausau area. Her body was found floating in the Mississippi River after a search that lasted more than three months.
