MADISON, Wis. (WSAU) -- The State Senate is attempting to act on a long list of bills so they can close the session for the year today.  It may be their goal, but there is still a chance Governor Scott Walker will call them into special session to deal with Voter ID legislation if the Senate doesn't pass the Assembly's version without amendments.

So far, the Senate has advanced several bills to the Governor's desk including one related to oral chemotherapy for cancer patients, the Implements of Husbandry bill dealing with oversized and overweight agricultural machinery on roads, and one to authorize the medical use of cannabidiol oil for seizure disorders.  Cannabidiol oil is an extract of marijuana that does not contain THC, and has shown promise in the treatment of seizures where other drugs have failed.
