UNDATED (WSAU) -- The election isn’t quite over in a couple of central Wisconsin races. Recounts are scheduled for two of the races.
In Nekoosa, incumbent Mayor Alan Marcoux defeated Daniel J. Carlson by only five votes. The Municipal Board of Canvassers is going to start the recount at 9:00 a.m. today to see if the 202 to 197 original count stands. These same two men were only separated by seven votes two years ago.
In Lincoln County, canvassers will work Thursday morning to recount the 22nd County Board Supervisor District ballots. Graham Rankin had 119 votes to Jolene Callahan’s 117 votes in the April 1st election.
