(WNFL)- Kyle Lohse will try to get the Milwaukee Brewers out of their recent doldrums tonight, when he starts against the Pirates in Pittsburgh. Last Sunday, the veteran right-hander fell just one out short of a complete game victory. He struck out nine and held the Pirates to just four singles in a 4-to-1 Brewers' win at Miller Park. Since then, Milwaukee has dropped 3-of-4 -- including a pair of games to Saint Louis and an 11-to-2 Pirates rout last night at PNC Park. Lohse is 2-and-1 with a three-point-oh-five E-R-A. The Pirates are putting up right-hander Charlie Morton. He's 0-and-1 with an ERA of almost three-and-a-third. He gave up four runs, two earned, in seven innings of a loss to the Brewers last Sunday. The Pirates returned to .500 at 8-and-8 with its victory in the current series' opener. Milwaukee is now 11-and-5 -- and they're 6-and-1 on the road.
