SALT LAKE CITY, Utah. (WSAU) -- At least one person has been injured in a federal court in Utah following a shooting.
A spokesperson for the US Attorney's office in Utah says they were in the middle of a hearing with a gang member from the Tongan Crips when a defendant attacked a witness. A US Marshall responded by shooting the defendant, injuring the man.
At least one person has been taken to a local hospital. Officials have not said if the man is in custody or his condition. No other details have been released.
