MARSHFIELD, WI (WSAU) -- It’s a full day of interviews on Monday for the four finalists vying to be Marshfield’s next Chief of Police.
Randy Gershman is president of Marshfield’s Fire and Police Commission, and says that besides structured-interview and scenario-based questions from the commission, a panel of police chiefs will be there to help. According to Gershman, “We’re going to be taking some input from a panel of area police chiefs that we’ve gathered to help us evaluate the candidates too, so we’re using a little bit of outside expertise.”
Later in the afternoon, the commission along with members of the Common Council will get to see how the candidates interact with the public at a “meet and greet” with city residents.
The four finalists are Lt. Rick Gramza and Sgt. Patrick Zeps from the Marshfield P.D., along with Lt. Jeff Miller from Appleton and Douglas Reim, Police Chief of Westworth Village, Texas.
A final selection is expected shortly after Monday’s interviews.
