LOYAL, Wis. (WSAU) -- Clark County investigators are still searching for a man suspected of stabbing another man a week ago.
Sheriff Gregory Herrick says 34-year-old Victor Ytehua-Tzompaxtle is still at large after the July 28th incident. Officers believe Tzompaxtle had been drinking with David Contreras when they got into an argument, and then Tzompaxtle allegedly stabbed Contreras once in the chest. He was last seen walking along County Highway K.
Contreras remains hospitalized at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
Herrick says they believe the stabbing was directly related to the drinking and argument, and that the public is not in any danger.
