BEMIDJI, MN (LEARFIELD-WSAU) The Wisconsin women's hockey team blanked Bemidji State on the road yesterday, 6-to-nothing. The game was scoreless for almost 25 minutes before Karley Sylvester put the second-ranked Badgers in front to stay.
Brittany Ammermann and Katy Harding each had two goals and a assist for Wisconsin, which has now won seven of its last eight. The Badgers improved to 14-3-2-and-1 in the W-C-H-A and 18-3-and-2 overall.
Bemidji State fell to 6-10-1-and-1 in the conference, and 9-12-and-2 overall.
The two teams will close out their weekend series this afternoon in northern Minnesota.
