MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WSAU-TSN) - Ryan Braun drove in the game-winning run with a walk-off single, leading the Milwaukee Brewers to a 3-2 victory over the Colorado Rockies in the second contest of a four-game set on Friday.
Matt Belisle (2-3) took the mound for Colorado in the ninth and was greeted with a single from Mark Reynolds. Jean Segura's sacrifice bunt moved Reynolds to second and pinch-hitter Scooter Gennett was intentionally walked. A passed ball allowed both runners to move up a base. Rickie Weeks struck out before Braun's single up the middle won the game.
Braun drove in two runs and Khris Davis doubled twice for the Brewers, who won their third straight game.
Francisco Rodriguez (3-2) earned the win despite giving up the game-tying run in the ninth. Starter Kyle Lohse surrendered just one run on seven hits with four strikeouts across seven strong innings.
Josh Rutledge homered among his three hits and scored two runs for Colorado, which has dropped 10 of its last 11 games. Starter Tyler Matzek gave up one run on five hits in six innings of work.
