WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (WSAU) -- The two men accused of supplying heroin to a Marshfield woman that died have been found guilty of first degree reckless homicide. 24-year-old Trenton Blume and 23-year-old Justin Drinka entered into a plea agreement Monday. The pled no contest to the charges.
District Attorney Craig Lambert declined to comment on the case until after sentencing, which is scheduled for May 16th.
Drinka and 20-year-old Kayla Vanderwyst took heroin together Sunday, August 19th, 2012, the night before she died. Vanderwyst was found dead in a house on 4th Street in Marshfield. Blume drove them to Wausau to pick up the drugs.
