MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WSAU) -- Ryan Braun homered and doubled in his return to Miller Park Friday. It’s the first time he’s played there since his doping suspension. Braun’s hot bat wasn’t enough, as Milwaukee lost to the Kansas City Royals 5-4 in an exhibition game Friday night.
The crowd loved Braun’s 409 foot shot over the centerfield wall, which gave the Brewers a temporary two run lead in the third inning. So far, Braun is hitting .412 this spring, and went 2 for 3 with three RBIs against the Royals.Billy Butler hit a solo home run for Kansas City in the fifth inning.Milwaukee opens the regular season Monday afternoon against Atlanta at home.
