CINCINNATI (WSAU-TSN) Todd Frazier's RBI double in the bottom of the 10th inning gave the Cincinnati Reds a 4-3 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday to wrap-up a four-game set from Great American Ball Park.
Tyler Thornburg (3-1) struck out Joey Votto and got Brandon Phillips to pop out to first baseman Lyle Overbay for the first two outs of the 10th.
Thornburg then walked Chris Heisey on four pitches and Frazier followed by pulling a 2-0 offering into the left-field corner. Heisey raced around the bags and slid into home safely as Scooter Gennett's relay throw was off line.
Prior to the series, the Brewers had just two road losses before Cincinnati took three of four.
Sam LeCure (1-1), who turned 30 on Sunday, was credited with the win after working around a leadoff double in the top half of the 10th to keep the game tied.
The Brewers return home to play the Diamondbacks on Monday at 6:35pm on AM-550 FM-99.9 WSAU.
