Sporting a barely-there red bustier and skin-tight pencil skirt, Jennifer Lopez looks sizzling on the cover of her just-announced 10th studio album, A.K.A.
The album title is a nod to the fact that the American Idol judge is "also known as" J-LO. The disc will feature the recent hit “I Luh Ya Papi,” along with “First Love,” which premiered last week.
"Music has always been my first love. ...As a girl who grew up in the Bronx, I listened to everything," Jennifer says in a statement. "In my career, I have always made music that is a reflection of me…and where I am in my life...I do what I feel...and do things that feel authentic to me."
"I am a lot of different things and I do a lot of different things," she adds. "I love Hip Hop, Pop, Dance Music and R&B. And on this, my 10th album release, I have created a collection of songs that make me feel good and make me feel happy."
Fans can get their hands on A.K.A. June 17. Before that, though J-LO will be honored with the Icon Award at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards on May 18. She's the first woman to receive the honor, which was established four years ago. Previous winners include Prince , Stevie Wonder and Neil Diamond .
"Jennifer Lopez is one of the most iconic performers of her generation," Larry Klein , producer of the Billboard Music Awards, said in a statement. "We are thrilled to honor her historic career with the 2014 Icon Award and will be on the edge of our seats like everyone else when she takes the stage."
Along with taking home the award that night, Jennifer will also perform with Pitbull as they debut the official anthem for this year’s FIFA World Cup, “We Are One (Ole Ola).” J-LO will also perform her single “First Love.”
The 2014 Billboard Music Awards will air on ABC May 18, live Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena.
