My wife and I vacationed in beautiful Northern California in January..and I noticed a great way for restaurants to make money..to up charge you by simply featuring fries in a unique way. I didn't see much of an up charge with fries that were served right on the plate…but when we ate at places that put the fries in a special container or up in the air in a unique holder…BOOM..price seemed higher!!
