The Milwaukee Bucks won their 6oth game on Sunday. The last time they did that was 1981. As the IKE Bucks Twitter account posted “Gas was $1.25 a gallon, Apple was only five years old, Michael Jordan was 18, Ronald Reagan was president, Raiders of The Lost Ark was in theaters, and Lebron & Giannis were not even born yet. Five years ago the Bucks had thew worst record in the league with only 15 wins. Giannis was a rookie and only a few (me included) thought he could be a superstar. But even I will admit that I didn't see this coming. He is the best player in the game. Don't even think about arguing that James Harden should be the MVP. The vote shouldnt be close if the “experts” are paying attention. I know I always preach that its the journey that should be savored and I would hope you have enjoyed watching this team come together the way they have. But, it would truly be a major disappointment if this team doesnt make the finals. Still gotta go out and earn it…but, in my mind , they are the best team in the NBA. Hard to believe that we can make that argument now and not sound foolish.
